Violinist Kathrin ten Hagen has appeared as a soloist with the Deutsche Symphonieorchester Berlin, the Hamburger Symphoniker, the KlassikPhilharmonie Hamburg, the Nürnberger Symphoniker and the Jenaer Philharmoniker, among many others. She has performed at renowned festivals like the Yellow Barn Festival Vermont, the Festspiele Mecklenburg- Vorpommern, the Holland Music Sessions and the Zermatt Festival Switzerland. In September 2009 she won the first prize at the Donald Portnoy International Violin Competition in Augusta/Georgia.
